It was not an easy ride, but we felt like we got to try our GC skills by devouring the hills. The ride there is farm land and forest. Since the train is elevated, we were looking down at streams and trees.
The Sedalia Katy depot is so nice! We felt very welcome there and they had nice clean bathrooms and plenty of water. There's also a bike shop and separate store where you can get your Katy Trail gear. I got some Katy trail magnets and a car decal--- and I cannot wait to get back and buy some more loot.
Once we got to Clinton City, we realized that there was no place to refill our waters, so it was a thirsty and hot ride back.

Sedalia is a nice little town. Thank you, Sedalia! We will be back, especially since I learned there is a knit shop.
